Comedy In
The Crown
is a free comedy night, well-established over several years, held every Wednesday in a lovely separate room in The Crown Public House Hatfield Road St Albans
It is a platform for both up and coming and highly experienced Comedy Performers to offer you their funnies and assists us in finding and booking the best acts on the comedy circuit.
Over the years, we have had household names perform so you never know who you’ll see at one of our great nights!
We have free entry with a bucket collection at the end of the evening.

Our History
We promote our own comedy nights as well as providing performers for both private, community and corporate clients.
XPG Events Managing Director and regular MC at JEST ANOTHER Comedy Club, Desmond Feehily is passionate about all things funny and has been in the entertainment business for over 25 years, he has been involved in many capacities and genres of performing including Character Comedy, Stand Up Comedy, Circus Ring Master and Jester.
We also help to raise money for various charities with our comedy nights such as our ever-popular Stand Up for The Mayor events.
Desmond is a proud serving member of The National Guild of Jesters, is well known as an excellent “Barker” who never fails to attract a crowd and is an ardent supporter and promoter of their activities, and has title to be the Official Jester to the Squire of Kelly, Mr Warrin Kelly in The Parish of Kelly, Devon
